SAN DIEGO - A semitruck's trailer carrying sand overturned on northbound Interstate 15 at the connector to westbound state Route 52 Thursday morning.
The trailer overturned for unknown reasons shortly before 11:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
While the trailer came to rest off the lane, CHP officials believe the effort to upright it could create a traffic issue on the connector.
