Information from Caltrans:
Caltrans crews have closed the two right lanes of northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) just south of Oceanside Boulevard to make emergency repairs to the Loma Alta Creek Bridge.
Caltrans structures engineers has been called to the scene to determine the extent of the repairs that need to be performed. At this time there is no estimated time with the lanes will reopen.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area or seek an alternate route. There are several portable Changeable Message Signs on northbound I-5 and westbound State Route 78 informing motorists of the closure in the area.
