ALPINE -- A collision between a tour bus and a sedan in Alpine Monday morning left three people injured and a stretch of Willows Road closed.
The bus and a Ford Focus crashed on the offramp from westbound Interstate 8 to Willows Road shortly after 10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three people were taken to hospitals afterward, and at least one suffered major injuries, according to the CHP and Heartland Fire & Rescue.
The wreck prompted authorities to close Willows Road in both directions at Brown Road, according to the CHP.
