SAN DIEGO (KGTV)-Fire crews knocked down a small brush fire that sparked near homes in Tierrasanta Wednesday afternoon, according to San Diego Fire Rescue Department.
The blaze started at about 2:03 p.m. and was burning on the side of a canyon near Santo Road and Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, officials said.
No evacuations were ordered.
An estimate of the acreage burned was not immediately available.
