Three armed men robbed a market and liquor store at gunpoint in the Fairmont Park area of San Diego and made off with money from the cash registers, a police sergeant said Saturday.
The robbery took place at Anderson Market and Liquor at 4131 Home Ave. about 9:20 p.m. Friday, according to San Diego police Sgt. David Jennings.
The masked men were armed with a shotgun and two handguns, Jennings said. They took the cash from two registers and then fled on foot down Home Avenue.
The men were dressed in dark clothing and hoodies, he added.
Anyone with information on this robbery was asked to call the San Diego police at 619-531-2000.
