Thief contorts into small gas station window

SAN DIEGO - A brazen thief contorted himself into a small window of a University City gas station in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

Surveillance video shows the thief removing panes of glass and slipping in, and then throwing 15 cartons of cigarettes out to his awaiting accomplice. He stole more than $12,000 of merchandise and supplies, and a credit card.

San Diego Police are currently investigating the incident. 10News' Jon Horn spoke with the business's owner, who showed how the thief made his way in and the damage he caused inside.
