Teen with autism and epilepsy reported missing

SAN DIEGO - San Diego police are asking for the public's help in finding a 17-year-old boy with special needs who was last seen Wednesday morning.

According to police, Guillermo Gradilla was last seen at his home in the 6000 block of Daisy Avenue at around 7:45 a.m.

Police said Gradilla has autism and epilepsy, and he has the mental capacity of an 11-year-old.

The boy is Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. Gradilla has short black hair and brown eyes, and he was last seen wearing a plain red hooded sweatshirt and blue pajama pants with multi-colored polka dots.

Anyone with information on Gradilla's whereabouts is urged to contact San Diego police at 619-531-2000.
