SAN MARCOS, Calif.— A 19-year-old man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday night after losing control of his motorcycle.

He was traveling westbound on Borden Road around 11:51 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, he collided with several objects, San Diego County Sheriff's Department said.

San Marcos Fire Department and sheriff's deputies found the teen unresponsive moments later.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
