SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A teen driver crashed into the side of a house in the Grant Hill area Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported.
The incident happened just after 6:30 a.m. in the 400 block of 31st Street, near J Street.
10News learned the 16-year-old girl and her mother were arguing at their home when the girl threatened to run away and stormed off. The girl got into a green Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and drove away.
Moments later, the girl lost control of the truck, causing her to swerve and hit a part of one house before crashing into the side of another house on 31st Street. The front driver's side partially entered the house, but the teen driver was not injured.
The girl did not have a driver's license and could be cited, 10News learned.
