According to an Instagram user, odubco, Kyle and his girlfriend stood during the game and the victim, "took offense to the couple never sitting down and obstructing his view."

After an exchange of vulgarities between Kyle and the victim during the game, tensions escalated to the cheap shot to the face after a mother and child sitting in between the rows of the two parties left.

The NFL is working with Carolina Panthers security after the video surfaced from Thursday night's game.

It is not clear the extent of the injuries from the incident.

Maraghy has been charged with simple assault and will appear in court on Monday.
