EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - Car owners in El Cajon are hoping police find the men who broke into their cars on the weekend of July 1.

The break-ins were captured on resident Justin Haskell's surveillance camera. In the footage, two men are seen walking up to his driveway. One of the men runs away when he sees the camera, but the other continues to look through his car.

The men got away with a pair of brand-name sunglasses.

Several of Haskell's neighbors were also targeted on the same night. At least seven cars were hit, all of them found their car doors cracked open in the morning.

The thieves took two pairs of designer sunglasses from another car and a generator worth around $800.

El Cajon police are investigating.
