Chula Vista police have arrested a man after a standoff inside an Eastlake residence Wednesday afternoon.
The incident was reported around 4 p.m. in the 1200 block of Aruba Cove, just south of Eastlake High School on Eastlake Parkway.
According to police, the unidentified man stabbed a door with a knife and threatened children inside the home. The man is believed to be the uncle of the children and he is believed to be under the influence of drugs, police said.
