President-elect Donald Trump is expected to nominate Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State, according to multiple news sources.
Trump met with Tillerson earlier this week amid reports that the CEO was under serious consideration to lead the State Department.
Trump was also considering former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker and former United Nations ambassador John Bolton.
Trump's transition team said Friday that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani had withdrawn from consideration for the post.
