HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) -- An airplane blocked traffic in Huntington Beach Friday, after the single-engine Cessna landed near the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Magnolia Street.
The small plane landed in the middle of the neighborhood street, landing safely some five miles southwest of John Wayne Airport.
Wow! Plane avoided tons of power lines to land safely down the street from my house. The woman pilot 👩✈️ did an amazing job landing with all those obstacles . @Stu_Mundel #huntingtonbeach #plane pic.twitter.com/AaLQ9HoLen

The pilot reportedly said engine trouble forced her to make the emergency landing on the busy street. No injuries were reported, but it's still not clear how many people were onboard.
Witnesses said the pilot seemed unfazed during the startling scene.
FAA investigators are looking into the incident.
