SAN DIEGO - Police are searching for whoever opened fire in the Chollas View neighborhood Monday afternoon, striking several car windows.
Police received a report of shots fired in an area near the intersection of 47th and Nogal streets shortly before 3:45 p.m.
Police say it doesn't appear anyone was hit, but police did find shell casings on the ground and several car windows were shattered.
The search is on for the shooter, but it is unclear if the shooter was targeting anyone.
