SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (KGTV)--Orange County lifeguards tagged great white sharks near the San Clemente Pier Friday.
Orange County lifeguards put Capistrano Beach under a shark advisory Friday, according to KABC. The beach was not closed.
An Orange County Sheriff's Department helicopter worked with a California State University Long Beach researcher to find the sharks.
10News reached out to lifeguards in Oceanside, approximately 20 miles away. They did not have any reports of shark sightings in San Diego County Friday.
