Today the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health expanded a sewage-related water closure farther north on the Silver Strand.
County Health Officials closed the shoreline as far north as Avenida Lunar.
This year's rainfall has sent sewage-contaminated runoff from the Tijuana River into the Tijuana Estuary.
Signs warning of contaminated water will remain in place until the water is safe.
