SAN DIEGO - Authorities asked the public Thursday to keep an eye out for a woman who disappeared last week after leaving a Hillcrest medical center.
Denise Bellafiore, 66, has been missing since she departed Scripps Mercy Hospital on Friday, according to San Diego police.
Bellafiore, who has no access to a vehicle and does not know how to use public transportation, has been prescribed medication for mental health conditions but was not believed to have it with her when she vanished, authorities said.
She is a 5-foot-2-inch, roughly 135-pound white woman with brown hair and brown eyes. When she went missing, she was wearing blue jeans, a teal sweater and black shoes.
Anyone with information on Bellafiore's whereabouts was asked to call SDPD communications at (619) 531-2000.
