OCEANSIDE, Calif. - Authorities were on the lookout for an unidentified man suspected of exposing himself to an 8-year-old girl outside a North County apartment complex.
The child reported that the stranger approached her in a parking lot outside her family's residence in the 100 block of Avenida Descanso in Oceanside about 4 p.m. Tuesday, asked her about a dog and then "flashed" her, police spokesman Ryan Keim said.
The youngster ran off, and the man drove away in a black pickup truck. The girl said the perpetrator was a tall, thin, bearded white man who appeared to be in his 30s and wore glasses.
"At this point, it appears to be an isolated incident," Keim said.
