SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Power was restored to Mission Valley, Linda Vista and Clairemont around 6 p.m. Friday - three hours after a car crash knocked it out.
At 2:30 p.m., nearly 500 customers were without power. San Diego Gas and Electric shut down power to hundreds of customers in the area because of an earlier transformer problem.
A car hit a transformer at Via Las Cumbres and Linda Vista Rd. earlier in the day, creating problems with the power system.
