SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - About 2,000 residents in the Rancho Penasquitos area were left without power on Thanksgiving morning due an outage caused by a vehicle-related accident.
San Diego Gas & Electric reported the outage began at 7:05 a.m. and it initially affected 2,036 residents in Rancho Penasquitos, Rancho Bernardo and San Pasqual.
A message on SDG&E's Outage Map says: "A vehicle accident has caused an outage"
Power is expected to be fully restored by 2 p.m.
