SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- New numbers on San Diego County's hepatitis A outbreak show that an additional patient has died from the illness within the last week.
According to the San Diego County Department of Health, 20 people have now died from hepatitis A.

In the county, 536 people have been diagnosed with the illness, up 20 from 516 a week ago. 369 people have been hospitalized.
On September 1, the department declared a public health emergency in the hepatitis A outbreak.
