RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - As crews work to put out fires across the state, San Diego County is on high alert due to windy and hot conditions.

Local winegrowers at Woof'n Rose in Ramona are taking extra precautions due to the wind and fire threat.

They are not using equipment, are clearing excess brush around the vineyard and keeping a close eye on weather conditions.
