SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego State University warned students Wednesday afternoon to avoid the busy intersection of College Boulevard and Alvarado Road near campus due to a foot pursuit.
San Diego Police started looking for Leo Valentine in a canyon about 2 p.m., officers said. Valentine is wanted for parole violations, San Diego Police said.
University Police and U.S. Marshals also joined in the search with the help of canine units.
The campus was not locked down.
Valentine was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and gray cargo shorts. His hair was pulled back, police said.
