SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police released the name Tuesday of a man found suffering head trauma in a City Heights street.
Somphan Bangphraxay, 41, had internal trauma and injuries consistent with an attack, police said.
Officers found Bangphraxay on Sunday morning after they received a 911 call about a man lying in the street on 3800 Highland Ave.
Bangphraxay had no visible signs of trauma but doctors at Scripps Mercy Hospital later determined the source of his injuries.
Police said Bangphraxay is on life support and not expected to survive.
