SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego lifeguards rescued a woman injured on a trail in the Box Canyon area of La Jolla.
San Diego Fire-Rescue lifeguards were called out at about 10:30 a.m. about a woman injured on the trail. Firefighters and lifeguards arrived and were able to extract the woman from the cliff safely.
The woman was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment for a broken ankle. It wasn't immediately clear how the woman was injured.
