San Diego County gas prices hit highest mark since Aug. 2015

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An increase of one-tenth of a cent Tuesday pushed the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County to its highest amount since Aug. 18, 2015, and extended the run of increases to 13 in 15 days.

The average price of $3.741 is 2 cents more than one week ago, 13.4 cents higher than one month ago and 72.2 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 61.9 cents since the start of the year.

The average price has risen 7.7 cents over the past 15 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday.
