SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--A man hopped the counter of a North Park pharmacy early Sunday morning taking bottles of cough syrup before fleeing, officials said.
The CVS pharmacy located at 3151 University Ave. was targeted by the suspect at about 1:35 a.m. when he lifted his black puffy jacket to reveal the handle of a gun to store employees, San Diego Police officer Robert Heims said in a statement.
The burglar then left the store headed eastbound in a gray Nissan Altima.
Police describe the suspect as a black male in his 30s, 5-foot-8-inches tall, weighting 190 pounds.
He wore a red beanie and camouflage pants or shorts, police said.
