Some residents at an apartment complex in University City are being evacuated due to a hazmat situation.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Department was called to the complex on Mahaila Avenue around 7:30 p.m.
The initial call was for an attempted suicide.
Hazmat crews and San Diego police were called to assist.
