Well-known San Diego restaurant Tacos El Gordo is planning to open a downtown location, according to an Eater San Diego report.
The family owned restaurant that specializes in "Authentic Tijuana Tacos" is looking to open a restaurant at 5th Avenue and F Street, in a space previously occupied by a Starbucks.
Eater San Diego, citing a restaurant representative, reported that the Gaslamp Quarter location is set to open by the end of this summer.
Tacos El Gordo has two San Diego-area restaurants and three locations in Las Vegas.
