RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - Emergency crews worked Wednesday to recover a body found on Iron Mountain trail near the edge of Poway.
Authorities were called to the popular North County trail to reports of a hiker in trouble around 3 p.m. Sheriff's deputies arrived to discover the body.
The victim's identity and cause of death were not available. No further information about the fatality was given.
