Some World War II planes usually seen in history books were spotted over San Diego County Wednesday.

The planes are part of the Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour stop at Ramona Airport.

The stop in the Ramona is one of three in the county and part of a 110-city nationwide tour.

Among the planes on display at Ramona Airport are a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell and North American P-51 Mustang.
