SAN DIEGO - A local mom is astounded by what her boys found in the bathroom of a Carl's Jr. restaurant in North Park.
The woman contacted 10News after she confronted the manager of the restaurant on El Cajon Blvd. about racist and profane graffiti in the men's restroom.
According to the woman, she was told the vandalism happened at least two weeks prior, and since the words were etched into the toilet seat, they would need to replace the seat and not just cover up the words.
When 10News contacted Carl's Jr. corporate, they replied with the following: "The El Cajon restaurant is a franchise location. Before this inquiry, CKE corporate was not aware of the graffiti. We have since contacted the franchisee and have asked them to remove it immediately."
Since 10News talked to employees and corporate, the bathroom has been shut down. Employees said a new seat will be in place by Friday.
