SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Students at San Diego State University are stunned over a controversial flyer that has been posted in bathrooms across the campus.
10News learned someone has been posting the offensive flyers in the East Commons and campus library bathrooms. They were taken down immediately after someone had reported them.
Student Marquis Whiteside said he couldn't wrap his head around what he saw after 10News showed him the flyer.
"I'm kind of shaking because I didn't think that was … something like that would be posted in a campus like this," Whiteside said. "From Jews to blacks to Asians, I mean, discrimination is ubiquitous across the board. I can't … wow."
A female student said, "I've never seen anything like this at this school … hateful, and wants to say everything that would offend everyone."
She added, "Honestly, I feel bad for them because they obviously have so much hate."
School officials said hate has no place on their campus, and Whiteside backs that up.
"If we do an eye for an eye, we're all blind. Let's have a conversation and let's get to the bottom of it, and maybe we can move forward, and maybe we can form a more peaceful society," he told 10News.
The whole campus was searched, but no other posters were found.
The school is making counseling available to students who saw it.
