Police seek victims of indecent exposure in North County

Posted

SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--Were you the victim of inappropriate touching or indecent exposure by a man in a white van?

The San Diego Sheriff's Department believes a man is a suspect in two North County coastal cases involving inappropriate touching and indecent exposure and now they're looking for more victims.

Officials said a man associated with a white delivery van grabbed the buttocks of a woman as she walked past him on May 6 on Vista de la Tierra in Solana Beach.

The victim was able to run away and wasn't injured, police said.

Then, on May 8, a female jogger on El Vuelo in Rancho Santa Fe ran past a man who had stopped his white van and exposed himself to her.

Officials said she ran across the street "as the suspect stepped out of the van with his pants down to his knees."

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 20-30 years old, weighing 150-200 pounds, and 5-foot-5-inches to 5-foot-eight-inches tall.

The van is described as a newer white delivery-type van with no windows on the sides similar to the photos included in this report.

If you believe you have been victimized, call the Sheriff's Sexual Assault Unit at 858-974-2316.
