Police search for truck that hit bicyclist, fled

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. - National City police sought Tuesday a hit-and-run driver who crashed into a bicyclist.

A Ford pickup truck struck the San Diego man as he was riding along the 200 block of East 16th Street near B Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Monday, according to a National City police statement. The driver fled the scene.

The bicyclist was treated at the scene for a head injury, but refused to be taken to a hospital, police said.
