A motorcyclist who hit a car and a truck Saturday afternoon in Bay Ho died from his injuries, according to San Diego Police.

The collisions happened at about 1 p.m. in the 5500 block of Santa Fe Street, Officer Frank Cali said. The identity of the 57-year-old man, who later died from massive injuries at a local hospital, was not released by police.

A 31-year-old driver of a Mercedes Benz turned onto the street from a private driveway into the path of the oncoming motorcyclist, Cali said. The motorcyclist veered into the car, then struck a truck being driven by a 47-year-old man.

No information was released on the drivers of the other two vehicles.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to Cali.
