An early morning shooting at a National City bar sent one man to the hospital with major injuries, police said.
The incident happened at Stoney's Bar & Grill in the 100 block of W. 25th Street, according to National City police.
Police said some officers were near the bar when they heard gunshots and responded as multiple 911 calls came in.
Police told 10News the victim was struck five or six times, including once in the head.
Officers stopped a car speeding near the area without its lights on, and the two men inside were arrested in connection with the shooting.
10News learned the man is in the hospital in stable condition.
The shooting remains under investigation.
