SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police chased a burglary suspect from Del Mar to Pacific Beach Friday morning.
The pursuit started about 10:30 am in the 2800 block of Vantage Way in Del Mar.
Police said they tried to pull over the vehicle but the driver left the area, heading south on Interstate 5.
The driver threw a bag of jewelry out the vehicle window during the chase, officers said.
Police arrested the driver after he stopped at Grand Ave. and Culver St. in Pacific Beach.
