SAN DIEGO -- A man was struck and killed while walking on State Route 94 Monday night in Golden Hill.
At 9:50 p.m., a Hyundai struck the victim as he walked in traffic on westbound SR-94, near the 25th Street exit.
The man died at the scene. The woman driving the Hyundai remained at the scene and cooperated with police. She was not injured.
The westbound lanes of SR-94 were shut down for about an hour.
The victim was not immediately identified.
