A vehicle struck pedestrians in Hollywood and then smashed into the Museum of Broken Relationships building, according to officials.
KABC in Los Angeles reports that two pedestrians were injured in the crash. One of the female pedestrians was transported to the hospital in fair condition and the other was listed in good condition.
They said the incident was described as a hit and run. Police said the driver fled the scene but officers were later seen taking a woman into custody near the crash site.
The museum, which founded its first permanent site in Croatia in 2010, opened in Los Angeles this year. It collects objects from the public that represent ended relationships.
