A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a train in Del Mar Friday evening.
Emergency crews responded to 12th Street near Pacific Lane just after 8 p.m.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital to be treated. The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries are unknown.
Train service was disrupted in the area while deputies investigated.
