SAN DIEGO -- A Coca-Cola delivery driver was injured Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash at a rain-dampened intersection in Mountain View.
The crash at 35th Street and National Avenue occurred shortly after 3 p.m.
The Coca-Cola delivery driver was hit while walking. The vehicle, described as a red Nissan sedan, also struck a fire hydrant before the driver sped off, San Diego police officer Joshua Hodge said.
Medics took the victim to a hospital for treatment of potentially severe trauma, Hodge added.
