A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in San Ysidro Monday night, according to San Diego police.
The incident happened just before 9 p.m. in the 2000 block of Dairy Mart Road.
Police said the pedestrian was bleeding from the head and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police during the investigation.
