A pedestrian was hit by a car in the Morena neighborhood and was hospitalized Sunday with life-threatening injuries.
The collision was at about 9 p.m. Saturday when a 20-year-old woman, who was crossing the street in the 5900 block of Linda Vista Road, was hit by a Ford Focus being driven by a 25-year-old woman, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.
The pedestrian had been crossing the street in the middle of the block, not using a crosswalk, according to Heims. The driver was not hurt.
