EL CAJON, Calif. – A wanted man who tried to climb out an apartment window to escape authorities was apprehended in El Cajon Thursday morning.

Kenneth McNally, a parolee wanted in connection with an armed robbery, was arrested at an apartment complex at Greenfield Drive and North 1st Street.

Sometime before 10 a.m., officers from multiple agencies surrounded the complex searching for McNally. He reportedly attempted to climb out a window and onto a ledge to escape, but was unsuccessful. McNally holed up in an apartment, but was eventually taken into custody without incident.
