PACIFIC BEACH, Calif. (KGTV)--Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Vons store manager Saturday night, according to San Diego Police Department.
Around 11:05 p.m., as the manager was closing up the Vons gas station, located across the street from the store, an armed suspect approached him and demanded he hand over a money bag, authorities said.
The suspect took the money bag, a set of keys, a folder containing paperwork and a walkie-talkie radio from the victim, police said. He then ran to a waiting two-door silver Nissan sedan, and the car fled westbound on Garnet Avenue.
Police are now searching for the suspect who is described as a man in his early 30s, 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighs 170 lbs. He had a slight beard and was wearing a black jacket.
