Hillcrest - One person is dead following a hit and run in Hillcrest according to San Diego Police.
The accident happened shortly after 10:45 pm near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue. The driver fled the scene and has not yet been apprehended. San Diego Police are investigating.
