One person was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and one vehicle was impounded during a holiday saturation patrol operation conducted by the sheriff's department in the City of Vista Friday night, a sergeant said.
The operation was conducted out of the Vista sheriff's station and concentrated in the area of Cinepolis Theatre Complex from 2p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday, according to SD sheriff's Sgt. Glen Twyman.
One person was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and had three previous DUI convictions, Twyman said.
One vehicle was impounded and deputies issued 29 citations to motorists during the holiday operation, Twyman added.
