(KGTV) — From college graduates to those already in the workforce, Americans are always interested in what jobs are considered the best — and worst.

Finding that job that's not only fulfilling, but also provides a good environment, low stress, and promising future is always in demand.

A new analysis from CareerCast.com looked at which jobs are the highest and lowest rated occupations based on environmental factors, income, industry outlook, and stress.

Leading the list were jobs in the data industry, such as data scientists, statistician, and informational security analyst. And the demand for these STEM professionals is at a constant high, the study says. So if numbers are your thing, you're heading in the right career direction.

"Working with numbers is in great demand in the years to come, evidenced in the impressive growth outlook numbers that help bolster the rankings of jobs like Data Scientist and Statistician," the study said.

Hovering at the bottom of the list were jobs that, while vital to society, operate with a high level of stress, low pay, and poor growth outlook, such as newspaper reporter, taxi driver, and enlisted military personnel.

"While the objective criteria used to determine the Jobs Rated report ranks careers at the bottom, this isn't to discount their value to society," CareerCast added.
